This course develops the knowledge and recording skills required to collect, document and report weapons-related information in support of intelligence and operational decision-making.

This course is suitable for police, law enforcement, border security, IEDD support personnel, post-blast investigation staff, intelligence support personnel and authorised government organisations involved in weapons-related reporting.

Course Overview

Weapons intelligence supports the identification of threat patterns, device trends, supply routes, technical signatures and operational risks. This course introduces structured collection, recording and reporting of weapons-related information from explosive incidents, recovered items, crime scenes, border interceptions or operational activity. It focuses on safe observation, documentation, evidence awareness, information handling and the link between technical reporting and intelligence-led decision-making.

Prerequisites

Entry Requirements

Participants should have a role linked to law enforcement, border security, IEDD, post-blast investigation, intelligence support, technical reporting or explosive threat response. Entry requirements will be confirmed with the client.
